Information we collect

Newsletter subscribers — your email address only, confirmed through a double opt-in link, with a one-click unsubscribe link in every email.
Comments — the name and email address you provide when leaving a comment. Your email is never published publicly; comments are held for moderation before appearing.
Site usage — anonymous page-view counts (the page visited and a timestamp) that help us understand which content is useful. We do not tie these records to your IP address or identity.
Admin accounts — for Shaaju team members only, using a session cookie tied to a securely hashed login token.

Analytics & advertising

Shaaju supports Google Analytics (GA4) and Google AdSense, but neither is active at this time. Before either is switched on, we will update this policy and request consent where legally required.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be shared with service providers who help us run the site, such as our hosting provider, under obligations of confidentiality — or disclosed where required by law.

Shaaju is written for parents and caregivers. The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
